Emma is a licensed acupuncturist in the states of New York and Massachusetts, and nationally accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Emma is trained in Five Element Acupuncture and related healing modalities. She completed the Masters of Acupuncture program at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, which consists of over 2,000 classroom and clinical hours, as well as in-depth courses in anatomy and physiology, counseling, biology, nutrition and other biomedical classes and training in complementary therapies. She has completed advanced training in fertility, pain management, pediatrics, and women's health.
Emma grew up in Millerton NY, the daughter of a family physician and a Five Element Acupuncturist. In 2013 she started working with Therese Balagna at Millbrook Acupuncture. Emma opened Millerton Acupuncture, her first solo practice, in February 2015. In November 2015 she opened a second location at Granary Healing Arts in Great Barrington MA.
